The Climbing Guide serves as a contemporary digital resource for rock climbers, providing varying levels of information tailored to user needs. It integrates precisely mapped GPS coordinates with 3D topos displayed through augmented reality, enhancing the climbing experience.

Users can access high-definition scans of routes in three dimensions, allowing for in-depth study of the beta prior to visiting a climbing location. Augmented reality preview mode offers a unique perspective, enabling climbers to interact with life-sized digital representations of route surfaces.

The app also facilitates route submissions via an intuitive AR scanning tool. Each contribution results in the generation of a 3D digital replica complete with topo overlays, which can be identified by fellow climbers using the innovative LocateAR mode.

Upon arrival at a climbing site, users can take advantage of LocateAR mode to effortlessly recognize and view established routes by simply directing their phone camera towards the rock.

The Climbing Guide features an expanding catalog of routes and climbing areas, enriching the climbing community’s resources with no associated costs.
